If you use any of the combat related potions (I.E. Super Attack, Super Strength, Super Defense) and level in that skill, attack, strength, or defense. If say your skill was level 99/84 with the potion, and you get level 85 - the potion's bonus resets and your level now shows 85/85, rather than staying at 99/85 and deteriorating over time.
