I Require Some Assistance.

I am new here. I downloaded the client from the sticky in general discussion, extracted to my desktop, use, run.bat, everything loads fine. Now, in my understanding I am just supposed to type in a username and pass and then it will create my account? Well, anyways, I do that, then it says connecting...and, then, There is an error connecting to the server. I am not sure if the server is down or something, or if it is my error. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Keep trying, the server goes down every nce in a while.
